Key Performance Indicators for Australian Public Mental Health Services - Developing Effectiveness KPIs from the NOCC Data
This report focuses on the Phase 2 indicator – clinically significant HoNOS (or HoNOSCA or HoNOS65+) change. The earlier report Key Performance Indicators for Australian Public Mental Health Services - Potential Contributions of MH-NOCC Data flagged a number of conceptual and technical issues related to using the HoNOS and related measures to assess change. This report expands upon these in more detail. It should also be read in conjuntion with Overview of 2006-2007 MH-NOCC Data: Technical and Conceptual Issues which discusses technical and conceptual issues, as they relate specifically to the 2006-2007 National Outcomes and Casemix Collection datasets.
