QLD: Brisbane: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - Measuring Outcomes - The Road Ahead (NOCC Strategic Directions)

9:00am - 12:00pm, Tue 28-08-12

Location: Traders Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn), 159 Roma Street, Brisbane

The National Outcomes and Casemix Collection (NOCC) is the set of routine outcome measures used by all Australian state and territory mental health services. AMHOCN have been tasked with undertaking a project that aims to:

  • review the progress to date on implementing NOCC, including both benefits and costs and looking for factors which have either helped or hindered implementation; and

  • develop recommendations for further development of NOCC through to 2024, including possible changes to the suite of measures used or the protocols governing their use.

To inform this work, AMHOCN will be conducting consultation sessions across all Australian jurisdictions during May – August 2012. Targeted consultations will be conducted for the different population bands within the mental health sector, for consumers and carers and for non-government or community managed organisations.

AMHOCN invites those working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to participate in this session. Registrations are now open. The feedback that you provide is important and will inform recommendations about future directions for the NOCC suite in the coming decade. Lunch will be served following the consultation session.

This consultation will be held in Brisbane.
