NMHBP Final Forum Presentations

A final forum of all participants in the National Mental Health Benchmarking Project (NMHBP) was held on 27 November in Melbourne.This aim of this meeting was to promote dissemination of the activities and outcomes of the NMHBP.

Services from each program area gave an overview of the data and lessons learnt from benchmarking, followed by presentations on special projects and quality activities that arose as a result of participation in the Benchmarking Project. The National Forum provided an opportunity to share the information across all four program streams and give jurisdictional representatives a better understanding of benchmarking issues. The final forum also allowed opportunity to identify the benefits, barriers and issues arising for organisations engaging in benchmarking activities. It was hoped that this information would inform the development of this activity across the jurisdictions.
